Chakri is a crispy snack anyone can fall in love with it and is made of rice flour. I consider it the Indian version of a savory pretzel. ...chakri mould and deep fry spirals (murruku) to golden brown. I always have a big jar of chakri in my kitchen for my special tea time
 
Prep. Time: 5 min.
Making Chakri using Machine Time: 10-15min
Frying Time: 15-20min
 
Ingredients:
11/2 cup Rice flour
1 cup fresh sour cream or as needed
1/2 teasp. white Chili powder
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
11/2 teasp. anise seeds(ajmayan or dill seeds)
11/2 teasp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Direction:
First mix all dry ingredients. Nead the dough with sour cream only. Dough should not be gui, but hard enough.  Get the Machine to make chakri. Meanwhile heat the oil to fry Chakri.  Shape the chakri in round.  Be careful that they don't break down when you fry them. Check the oil with little dough. If oil is done fry the chakris. Store them in an air tight container when they are cool.
