Gujrati Thali is prepared with several shaaks(curry), roti or puris, rice, daal or kadhi, kachumber(salad), papad, raita, chutneys, region's popular snack and sweet dish. Thali is very tempting and almost hard to stop eating!
Main gujarati popular snack dishes are Khaman, Dhokla, Hando, and Khandvi. There recipes are very old traditional recipes. They are absolutely my favorite choices. My younger son even loves these recipes...and so does many of you. Watch this video on how you can prepare your mixes for Khaman, Dhokla, Handvo, Kapuria, and Idli. I also use little bit of Dhokla or Kapuriya mix to my steamed dumplings(Muthias) such as Cabage Muthiya, Muthia with fresh dill or green onion or fenugreek leaves...possibilities are endless!! So these mixes are must for Gujarati families
